Save a Life AED workshops teach local communities what to do in an emergency and equip them with the skills to help adults who have stopped breathing. 70% of cardiac arrests happen out-of-hospital. As AEDs are increasing in number with several available in communities for public uses, this AED module will give you the confidence to use this lifesaving equipment in the event of an emergency.
Come and meet like minded people who want to learn these vital skills too.
This workshop gives you the opportunity to learn and practice you new skills in a safe and friendly environment giving you confidence should you ever need to use the skills for real.
We will cover adult CPR (over the age of 18 yrs).
Use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
How to treat an adult that is choking.
And as the workshop is run through the Royal Life Saving Society we must include a little drowning prevention.
Suggested donation is £10 per adult, all donations received go to the Royal Life Saving Society who provide and renew the equipment we use.
